About the school
Ysgol Llanfair Pwllgwyngyll is a Welsh-medium primary school with 344 pupils. Our catchment covers the village of Llanfair Pwllgwyngyll, Penmynydd and Star, and some families travel from further afield. We serve a broad community, with many languages and backgrounds, and every child belongs to the school family.
We aim to develop creative, ambitious learners who value community, family and respect for others. Parents play a real part in that, and we give you regular chances to join in with school life. Talk to parents at the gate - they will tell you what the school is like.
What our pupils say
