PE and the outdoors
PE sits in every week's timetable. Children build balance, control, coordination and the skills they need for all kinds of sport. Whatever the weather, pupils learn outdoors too - on the school site and beyond - and find out about the natural world around them.

From Year 3, pupils play other schools at football, netball and hockey.

Cycling proficiency courses for the older children.

Paying for trips
We ask parents for a voluntary contribution towards trips and activities that enrich class work. No child misses out because a contribution has not been paid. If too few contributions come in, we may have to cancel an activity.
Families on certain benefits may be entitled to help with the cost of residential trips. Ask the office in confidence.
