The Welsh language

Welsh is the language of teaching in every class, from Nursery to Year 6, and the everyday language of the school - in lessons, on the yard and in assemblies. Children also learn English, and we aim for every pupil to leave us fluent in both languages.

Families who do not speak Welsh at home are very welcome. About four in ten of our pupils do not speak Welsh at home, and they learn it in class and at play.
